TURKU ERASMUS PROGRAMME 2008
Turun ammattikorkeakoulu/Turku University of Applied Sciences

Turku, Finland
Introduction
Erasmus students have during the exchange programme the possibility to select radiography studies. The options are:
conventional radiography

These studies are Advanced special studies in Radiography and Radiotherapy. Participants are expected to already have basic knowledge in these areas (conventional radiography, mammography, CT). Mainly these studies consist of clinical studies (clinical placements) and students´ project works. Let us know one option before the middle of September 2007.
The imaging units where the clinical placements take place are situated mainly in Medical Imaging Centre of Turku University Central Hospital. You have the possibility to study in different units and different imaging methods: conventional radiography, CT and mammography.
You will choose a few days placement in Radiotherapy Department if you have studied radiotherapy in your home university. There are clinical placements at Health care centres as well. You will find maps and more information about Turku University Central Hospital in the www-address http://www.tyks.fi/
