Application Instructions
Now it is time for your students to apply for spring term 2012 exchange studies at Turku University of Applied Science (TUAS), Finland.

Application period
The application deadline for incoming exchange students is 1st November for the spring term 2012. The application form can be found at our webpage (www.tuas.fi - Incoming exchange students - How to apply). Please see the detailed instructions for the application process at our webpage. If your students have problems with the application, they can contact exchange.students@turkuamk.fi
The applications should be filled in electronically, printed out, signed and posted to us with the transcript of records, CV and motivation letter. Please upload the documents also to your Mobility online profile from 'Upload application documents' or send the same documents via email to taina.nordgren@turkuamk.fi.
Before arrival
The International Office at TUAS will send an information package to each student before arrival. This package contains letter of acceptance, general information about TUAS, arrival, pick-up service, accommodation, the study location as well as free time activities. A copy of our International Student Guide will also be sent in the package. Accommodation in Turku:
Students studying in Turku must book their own accommodation at least six weeks before the arrival at the Student Village Foundation (TYS). This can be done at www.tys.fi/en/exchange_students/
Studying and courses
Semester starts officially in week 2. We can build you an individual study programme from different courses offered in English. Please contact us in order to discuss the contents of your studies for spring term 2012.
When in Finland
Exchange students will have personal student tutors who will meet them on arrival and help them in practical matters at the beginning of their stay in Finland. Please note that the exchange students will be met on arrival if they have informed us about the time and place at least two weeks earlier. Arrival information can be sent by e-mail to Ms Hanna Peussa (exchange.students@turkuamk.fi).
